Inside the ADO Model: Our approach to yarn innovation
Our ADO model is the backbone of our commitment to being a valuable partner. This model guides how we collaborate with customers from first contact to long-term optimization. The result? A highly personalized, technically sound, and performance-driven partnership that adds measurable value at every step.
What is the ADO Model?
The ADO model, Assess, Design, Operate, is TP’s structured, yet flexible approach to solving complex yarn challenges. It ensures that every customer benefits from deep technical insight, truly independent advice, and full-service execution, all under one roof.
- Assess & Advise
Everything starts with understanding. We begin by analyzing the specific requirements of the application. What are the performance needs? Where have previous materials fallen short? What are the cost constraints or sustainability targets?
At this stage, we bring decades of expertise into play, evaluating the best-fit materials, whether that’s TITAN HMPE, Aramid, LCP or even a hybrid solution. TP will always give independent advice to help you choose the best material for your specific application.
- Design & Develop
Based on the assessment, we co-develop a custom yarn configuration. This may involve twisting, coating, cutting or adding UV resistance or thermal protection. Our in-house production and testing facilities in Germany ensure every yarn meets the right specifications.
Throughout the design phase, we simulate real-world conditions and adjust for batch consistency, application-specific tensions and machine compatibility. For high-performance sectors like lifting, armouring or geotextiles, there’s no room for error. Our yarns are built to perform, batch after batch.
- Operate & Optimize
Once approved, production begins. But our support doesn’t stop there. We manage supply chains, offer just-in-time deliveries and maintain the flexibility to scale production based on evolving demand. Our clients rely on us not just for consistent delivery, but also for proactive advice, whether it’s optimizing spooling formats, selecting sustainable fiber alternatives or refining product design for cost or efficiency gains.
And if anything changes in the customer’s process or market? We’re ready to reassess and adapt. That’s the power of a partnership built on agility not transactions.
The impact of the ADO Model
For companies operating in technical and high-performance sectors, the ADO model solves a critical challenge: aligning yarn capabilities with exact application needs. From protective fabrics to industrial lifting slings, TP customers know they are not simply buying yarn, they’re investing in engineering, expertise and end-to-end service.
What this means for you
- You gain freedom of choice, thanks to our independent material sourcing.
- You benefit from co-engineering, ensuring your yarn performs exactly as needed.
- You reduce production risks, with tested, consistent quality built in.
- You shorten your development cycle, thanks to fast prototyping and expert validation.
- You gain a strategic partner, not just a supplier.
More than a model: A mindset
For TP, the ADO model isn’t a marketing slogan. It’s our daily way of working. It’s how we guided a client from distributor to self-producing rope manufacturer in under three months. It’s how we help clients optimize between aramid and TITAN HMPE when safety, strength and weight must be perfectly balanced. It’s how we keep our supply chains resilient amid shifting global trade conditions.
We don’t make yarns, we make yarns better.
